Comprehensive Broadband Services
The connections we offer, and what each is for.
4G and 5G Solutions: At the heart of CR Network Solutions’ offerings are its 4G and 5G broadband services, designed to provide users with lightning-fast internet speeds. These services enable seamless streaming, efficient online gaming, and uninterrupted video conferencing, making them ideal for today’s fast-paced digital life.
Leased Lines: For businesses requiring dedicated internet connections, CR Network Solutions’ leased lines offer a reliable and secure solution. These fixed bandwidth connections ensure stable and high-speed internet access, crucial for running critical operations and cloud-based applications without disruption.
Starlink Internet: Recognising the need for high-speed internet in remote and rural areas, CR Network Solutions also provides Starlink services. Powered by SpaceX’s advanced satellite technology, Starlink delivers broadband speeds that rival traditional terrestrial connections, ensuring that no location is too remote for quality internet access.
Bespoke advice: By understanding each client’s unique requirements, we recommend the connection, or mix of connections, that suits the building and the way it is used.
WiFi and cabling to match: A fast line only helps if it reaches the people using it, so the broadband can be paired with our WiFi and data cabling services inside the building.

What to plan before you book
A few things worth knowing before you choose a connection.
What the connection has to carry
Count the people and devices online at the busiest time of day, and the jobs that matter most: video calls, card payments, cloud software, CCTV viewed remotely. Upload speed matters as much as download for calls and backups, and it is where ordinary broadband is usually weakest.
What is available at the address
Fixed-line speeds vary street by street, 4G and 5G depend on the masts that reach the building, and Starlink needs a clear view of the sky. Knowing what already reaches the property narrows the choice quickly.
Lead times for a leased line
A leased line is a dedicated fibre built to the premises. It can need a survey, civil works and permission from the landlord or neighbouring landowners for the route, so it is worth starting well before you need it, for example ahead of an office move.
A backup connection
If the business stops when the internet stops, plan a second connection on a different technology, such as 4G or 5G behind a fixed line, with a router that switches over by itself.
Good to know
Speeds are shared or dedicated
Most broadband is shared with neighbouring customers, so speeds dip at busy times. A leased line gives the business its own fixed bandwidth, the same in both directions, which is why it suits firms that rely on cloud software.
Mobile broadband depends on placement
A 4G or 5G router indoors can perform very differently from one with an external antenna on a wall or mast. Where the router and antenna go is often the difference between a usable and an excellent connection.
Contracts and notice periods
Check the notice period on your current line before ordering a new one. Overlapping by a few weeks avoids a gap while the new connection is installed and tested.
Your router is only the start
Many complaints about slow broadband are really about WiFi inside the building. If the line tests well at the router but poorly in the office, the fix is coverage rather than a new contract.

Broadband Solutions: questions customers ask
What is the difference between broadband and a leased line?
Ordinary broadband is shared with other users and is usually faster to download than to upload. A leased line is a dedicated connection for one business with the same speed both ways, which suits offices that rely on cloud software, video calls and remote access.
Can 4G or 5G replace my fixed broadband?
Where the mobile signal at the building is strong, 4G or 5G can match or beat a slow fixed line, and it is quick to set up. Where the signal is weak, an external antenna can help, and in some places Starlink is the better choice.
Is Starlink good enough for a business?
For rural premises with poor fixed-line options, Starlink can deliver broadband that rivals traditional connections. It needs a clear view of the sky, so a site check comes first. See our Starlink installation page for more.
Can I have more than one connection?
Yes. Many businesses run a main connection with a second one as backup on a different technology, so a fault on one line does not take the business offline.
Do you work with homes as well as businesses?
Yes. Our broadband services are tailored for both commercial and residential settings.
Will a faster connection fix slow WiFi?
Not always. If speeds are good at the router and poor elsewhere, the problem is coverage inside the building, which our WiFi solutions deal with.
